Increasing Biodiversity in Manchester

There are many things that can be done to increase biodiversity in Manchester, and a majority of the public wants something to be done according to a recent survey. By focussing on making Manchester more welcoming to pollinators, we aim to do just that.

We will be raising awareness of the issues that face pollinators. We will do this through giving out information and talking to people at events, and also through encouraging people to do something themselves to help. We will also be working with organisations such as Wythenshawe Real Food to organise communal wildflower planting days. This will bring communities together and inspire them to create their own biodiverse spaces throughout their local area.
