Educating Young People to Eat Healthily and Sustainably

Not enough young people understand the impact of diet on health and the environment, with many eating takeaways twice a day. Poor diet leads to health issues such as obesity and heart disease and negative environmental issues e.g. emissions of greenhouse gases from animal agriculture.

Our objective: 

We ran a social media campaign via regular posts on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. This included weekly posts on facts about food and the environments, as well as simple recipe ideas. Our social media campaign educated young people, and also encouraged them to get involved and change their habits.
