Feeling prejudiced by people who don't know a lot about refugees/asylum seekers and the influence of the media

Find Your Power is kindly funded by The People's Postcode Lottery and is part of a national project called Surviving to Thriving. Surviving to Thriving is a partnership between British Red Cross, Refugee Council and UpRising that aims to improve the lives of unaccompanied refugee and asylum seeking children and young people. As part of this project, children and young people can learn about their rights and entitlements with British Red Cross, take part in therapeutic counselling with Refugee Council and explore change making with UpRising.

Young people that take part in Find Your Power explore issues that affect them and work alongside a professional filmmaker to create films that will be used by British Red Cross, in order to educate and train professionals across the country.
