Refugees are defined as those forced to flee war or persecution. However, more people overall are displaced by climate change every year, yet they are not included in the UN’s definition. We want to lobby the British Government through an awareness campaign to properly identify this group. We plan on achieving this through a change.org petition, strong social media and targeting specific MPs in Birmingham.
